The Opioid Epidemic: How did we get here? Where do we go from here?

Ever wonder how we went from a  country dealing with a multitude of different drug addictions to a total focus on the opioid epidemic? What happened along the way? Why are so many more people dying of overdoses than before?

Tony wrote the preface to our text BALM® – the Loving Path to Family Recovery and is a self-educated expert on the topic of the opioid epidemic as well as a national advocate to bring about its demise.

A successful business owner and Senior World Series winner and team owner, Tony lost his son to the opioid overdose epidemic and has since dedicated a tremendous amount of time and energy to understanding this scourge, helping families dealing with a child’s overdose through facilitating bereavement groups, producing movies on how real people have been affected by the epidemic, working with Fed Up to end the epidemic, and working with the BALM® to help families recover.
