Have you ever felt like you needed an intensive dose of BALM to better equip you to help your loved one and get your own life back? Or would you like to get started on your professional BALM Facilitator or Coach Training?
If so, consider coming to the upcoming BALM retreats!
This weekend, September 8-10, we will dive deep into the BALM 12 Principles on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Together we will deeply explore and actively learn about a number of critical BALM concepts including but not limited to:
- Contribution
- Managing Expectations
- the Hijacked Brain
- the Stages of Change,
- Motivational Interviewing
- Flooding
- Responding vs reacting
- Mindfulness
- Peace
- Connection
- Denial
- Documenting
- Enabling
- Using Leverage
- Boundary setting
- Self care
- Spiritual practices
- Forgiveness
- Healing Resentment
- Morning Pages
- Healing Relationships
If you have been in the BALM, these will sound familiar to you. But how deeply have you explored them and how could it help you to take a deeper dive into these ideas so critical to help you help yourself and your struggling loved one?
In BALM, we have a saying that if we practice Be A Loving Mirror when our loved one is still struggling, we will be able to have a rich recovery of our own that will expand and grow even more if and when they get well. On the other hand, if we say āitās not my problemā and turn away from finding our own peace, preferring to suffer due to their suffering, if and when they get well, we may resent their progress and never get to enjoy a new and joyfilled life with them.
Master BALM! It is the loving path to family recovery.
This weekend can be a good start!
Then you can continue in October with the 7 Steps Retreat, growing ever more peaceful as you go!
